The vacation in our territory is an important and established fact in the national panorama for the hospitality of tourists. Our earth, the one that we have defined "the promised earth", why here one meets the good living made of gastronomy and wines, humanity and good taste, great nature and above all of great history and cultural value. Who comes in our territory must visit Saturnia with its thermal baths of mythologic origin: the God Saturno with a chain-lightning would have made to gush from the crater of a volcano a sacred water in order to improve the men. |

It is recommended to visit the Etruscan Tombs of Ildebranda and Sirena's. Sorano: dominated by the recently restored Orsini's fortress, it is the city of the tuff for excellence, magical and encircled by archaeological sites well conserved and of great cultural and artistic interest. Another ancient village set between the sea and hills, famous not only for the fresh summery breeze, but also for the perfumed Morellino wine. This town is Scansano. You cannot go away from Maremma without a bottle of "morellino di Scansano". Finally a day must be dedicated to the visit of the park of the Uccellina, of the cape of Argentario, the unpolluted sea of the Island of the Giglio, Ansedonia and Talamone.
